LAGOYA retractable walking stick
Lagoya trekking pole – Compact, lightweight and adjustable
The Lagoya Elementerre trekking pole is designed for hikers and trekkers looking for lightweight, compact, and high-performance equipment. Thanks to its 4-section construction , it folds down to just 39 cm , an ultra-compact size that allows for easy storage in a backpack when traveling.
Its quick-unfolding system is simple and efficient: just pull the main section until it locks, then use the button to fold it back up. This intuitive mechanism allows for rapid setup, even in the field.
The adjustable length allows you to adapt the pole to your body shape and the terrain of the route, offering better walking comfort and optimal use both uphill and downhill.
The ergonomic EVA foam handle ensures a comfortable grip during long hikes, while the adjustable nylon and neoprene wrist strap provides additional support and reduces arm fatigue.
For reliable grip on all terrains, the Lagoya is equipped with a tungsten carbide tip protected by a non-slip rubber tip . It also comes with interchangeable washers to adapt to summer conditions or softer ground.
A compact and robust trekking pole , ideal for hiking, trekking and mountain adventures.

F.A.Q
1. What is the ideal weight for my pilgrim's backpack?
The golden rule on the Camino is to keep your pack weight under 10% of your body weight . For example, if you weigh 70 kg, your pack should not exceed 7 kg. At the Pilgrim's Shop , we carefully select ultralight and compact gear (sleeping bags, clothing, toiletries) to help you protect your back and joints, kilometer after kilometer.
2. How to choose your shoes for walking to Santiago?
The choice depends on the section of the route and the season. For rocky paths like the Camino Francés , a mid- or low-cut hiking shoe with good grip is ideal. Expert tip: Always choose a size larger than your usual size, as your feet will swell with exertion. Don't forget to break them in by walking several dozen kilometers before your big departure.
3 - What are the essentials to avoid blisters?
Blisters are the pilgrim's number one enemy. To prevent them, we recommend the "three-layer" system:
- A pair of technical anti-friction socks (in merino wool or double thickness).
- A daily application of anti-chafing cream (such as Akileïne).
- Precise lacing of your shoes.
